N. levis pilbarensis

In my list of Australian geckoes N.l. pilbarensis is the first representative of the Nephrus-species whose exemplars are also called " knob-tailed geckos”. This family has big eyes, which are a clear indicator for nocturnal activity, as well as a short tail ending with a little knob. Like all the other geckoes I keep this species is endemic for Australia. Nephrurus levis pilbarensis and all other exemplars of the Nephrus-family (except for N. amyae, asper und sheai) always need a damp corner to where they can absent themselves.
